Wednesday night (Modern/New Vogue) Social: 15 March 2006

Wednesday night socials usually have a standard format.

We start with the progressive dances where you change partners throughout the dance. Then we have teaching time, where we learn one dance over the course of a month or so. At the moment it is the Tangoette (Beginners) and La Bomba (Advanced).

During the breaks on a Monday night, we have one or more New Vogue or Modern dances:

Towards the end we have the Monte Carlo, which is a game that eventually leaves only two couples on the dance floor, and then a prize is awarded to the winner dependent on what colour card is drawn!

At the end, we wrap up with some more progressive dances.
