Monday night (Latin) Social: 03 April 2006

Monday night socials usually have a standard format.

We start with the progressive dances where you change partners throughout the dance. Then we have teaching time, where we learn one dance over the course of a month or so. At the moment it is the Jive.

During the breaks on a Monday night, we have one or more line dances, including the Cha Line, Samba line or Jive line dance:

Towards the end we have the Monte Carlo, which is a game that eventually leaves only two couples on the dance floor, and then a prize is awarded to the winner dependent on what colour card is drawn!
